# Chrysalis Custom Layout Heatmap

I’d like to view a picture of my current layout heatmap. What is the best way for me to do this?  
The tools I’ve found don’t address this, for example:

- There’s a Kaleidoscope [heatmap plugin](https://community.keyboard.io/t/infinitely-hot-keys-with-heatmap), but it’s for rgb keys and doesn’t generate a picture output
- There are also multiple online tools to view QMK heatmaps like @algernon 's [archived ergodox example](https://community.keyboard.io/t/what-do-people-want-from-the-firmware/134/4) and the recent [precondition QMK heatmap project](https://precondition.github.io/qmk-heatmap), but how can I convert from Kaleidoscope-\>QMK? (not [QMK-\>Kaleidoscope](https://community.keyboard.io/t/qmk-port-for-atreus-44-keys/4244/5))
  - With modified formatting, the [Kaleidoscope keylogger plugin](https://community.keyboard.io/t/atreus-key-chatter-kinda/4522/6) might prepare a keylog for the above heatmaps …?

That plugin was out of date; I’ve submitted a PR to update it to current Kaleidoscope master.
