# Easiest Way to Change Plugin Settings Like .setCursorInitSpeed(speed) for the MouseKeys Plugin

Hey all,

Long time user and big fan of the atreus. I just recently updated chrysalis and the keyboard firmware, and have been messing with the MouseKeys plugin. I’d like to change some of the settings (acceleration, movement speed, etc), but don’t really know how. It seems like maybe I can make a macro that will modify the settings?

It’s even easier than that. If you upgrade to the latest Chrysalis snapshot (0.11.9-snapshot), and flash firmware with the `MouseKeysConfig` plugin enabled, you’ll be able to change those settings through Chrysalis:

Mind you, the plugin is only enabled for the Model100 in the default firmware. For any other keyboard - the Atreus included - you will have to compile your own after adding it for now.
