My original version was built on the unicode plugin. It worked a little better efter I changed it from rawkey to just key.
I actually started working on the macro in the first place, because I couldn’t get the unicode plugin to work on windows. The old latin1 way seems like a more simple approach.
Just to follow up on this thread, for anyone reading this later.
I gave up on getting the latin1 macro working. It should have been trivial - but maybe it wasn’t.
So after watching another layer of dust on my Model 01, I finally caved in and installed WinCompose. It is not flawless. But it works. So I am going to see how that works out for actual work.
