i’ve successfully setup arduino and can build and upload my changes to the model 100, but i’m a bit confused on how tap dance works in conjunction with chrysalis. is there any doc on this or does anyone have a working example?

I expect you found the documentation on TapDance — Kaleidoscope documentation.
I tried using Chrysalis with custom-build firmware, but I could not do some of the stuff I use on it. I am not saying it does not work, but I could not figure out how to get OneShot, TopsyTurvy, MagicCombo, SpaceCadet to work with it.
After a while, it seemed easier to just go with Arduino. If you find out how to do it, let me know.
