I bought this from a co-worker who used it a short time and could not get used to it. He said it sat on his shelf for months before he sold it to me. I tried it for a short time and could not get used to it. It’s been sitting in a box in my closet for over a year. (In case anyone is interested, I settled on the Ergodox EZ and love it.)
I just pulled it out tonight, plugged it in to my computer and typed out all the letters and numbers, and all works well.
It has the short cable that connects the two halves of the keyboard and nothing else. I have no case, no extra key caps, no key puller. I’m not sure how to tell what types of switches I have, but by a process of elimination of looking at the switch types, my guess is that it might be the box silent tactile. They’re not clacky, have a fair amount of motion, and are very quiet.
