Starting with conjecture in a place where other people might be able to quickly chime in and steer you in the right direction is a perfectly valid triage technique.

Also having this issue. Is the accepted fix switching the USB cable?
I’m still using my original USB cables. It’s been a while, but I think the fix was updating the firmware.
That said, swapping cables is certainly an easy thing to test, and if it works for you, great (and let us know - don’t be like past-me).
Are you using the original stock firmware? have you tried a newer version of the official firmware?
