Center key fingers

I’ve just started with my Model100 and have noticed it really highlights a lot of bad habits I had picked up on a regular keyboard, e.g. hitting the c with my index finger.

Anyway in an effort to start on a better foot, I was wondering what the intended way of using the tab, esc, enter, and butterfly keys is. All the other keys are fairly obvious and can be reached without leaving the home row position. The two ways I’ve tried have been floating my hand in a column and using my index finger or rotating my hand slightly to stretch my thumb in.

Any insight or experience would be appreciated.

Saw an answer in another thread…

Tab, Enter: index finger
Esc, Butterfly: either index or thumb

I find them a bit hard with the index finger, but it does take a while to get used to any new keyboard.
