I remapped my function keys and now I keep hitting something that activates that level and I can’t get out of it and I have to reprogram the keyboard.
If you can post your .ino sketch file, we may be able to debug it.
Reprogramming the keyboard doesn’t depend on your keymap. The way we check the ‘Prog’ key is at a deeper level than the keymap, so that shouldn’t be causing trouble for the reflashing.
Plugging in a second keyboard has helped me in situations like these. Also, since you use Windows, you can make use of the virtual On-Screen Keyboard (somewhere in Start->Accessories->input assistance (or something)). Its cumbersome but very effective.
