Right Hand Board is Unresponsive (no lights, keystrokes not working)

Looking for some guidance troubleshooting an issue with my Model-01. It seems to have been caused by an update pushed by Dell Command Update.

The right hand board is completely unresponsive. When I plug it in to my computer, the left half works as expected: the LEDs light up and cycle when I press the LED key, and keystrokes are properly sent to my computer. The right half produces no light and none of the keys work.

I’ve tried flashing the firmware (successfully) many times, and I have no trouble putting the left half into programmable mode. During the flashing process, the left side goes through it’s flickering, red LED pattern that gradually increases in speed, but no signs of life from the right.

I’m running Linux, Fedora 31, and using these instructions to build the default firmware and flash the ROM: https://github.com/keyboardio/Kaleidoscope/blob/master/README.md

I’ve also tested with multiple computers, replaced the RJ45 and USB cables, but no luck

It almost seems like I’ve bricked only the right half, but I don’t know if/how that is possible. I’m assuming there is a ROM on the right half that I’m not aware of that has been corrupted and needs to be fixed, but I don’t know where to start. Should I order a Bus Pirate, or something to interface with the debug port?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
