Changing the lighted keys on numpad

I made a few small changes to my NumPad layer, including the addition of an en dash key on the 0. Is there any way to change the lighted keys on my NumPad layer to reflect my additions? Or for an even better effect in the future, I’d love to light the number keys one color, and the other layer keys a different shade.

The “easiest” currently is to use the Colormap plugin, and this tool to set a per-layer color map. If you use this method, you might want to disable the NumPad plugin, as that’d override the colors.
