Atreus stuck key issue on Windows 11

For the past year my Atreus has gotten stuck repeating the last key pressed for about 20 seconds (or not registering input for that long if no key was pressed). Unplugging and re-plugging the USB-C connector will fix this temporarily.

Sounds exactly like this problem:

If I recall correctly, at first it was rare, happening once a day or so? For the past couple of months it has been happening very often, on average every 5-6 minutes or so. Sometimes 30 seconds apart, sometimes 10 minutes or more.

It was plugged into my monitor, which has a USB 3.1 hub. I have since plugged it straight into the motherboard (back of the computer) in a USB 2.0 port that has high priority (according to the maker). This did not help. I’ve just replaced the cable I was using with a premium one. This maybe makes the occurrences less frequent. In fact it hasn’t happened yet while I’ve been typing this – unusual – but it happened just before. I disabled “USB selective suspend” a year ago when this started happening.

My Chrysalis app is up to date and the board has the latest version. (A key just got stuck as I was typing.)

Not sure what to do. I got this board on preorder back in 2020. It has never left my desk and never been dropped or spilled on. I try not to bottom out when I type. So I don’t think it could be damage. I love the Atreus layout, have had no hand or wrist pain from typing since I started using it, so I don’t want to change…but I’d rather not spend two hundred for a new one and just hope it’s better.
