Chrysalis seems very unreliable

It reports version 2025.0909.307

I just updated my sketch, closed Arduino IDE & started Chrysalis which connected fine.

I then realised I hadn’t changed the version number so closed Chrysalis, recompiled the sketch and started Chrysalis again.

Now it refuses to connect.

In the IDE I can connect to serial monitor and get output.

Now when I go back to Chrysalis, it connects.

It really seems fairly random whether it will connect or not.

OK, so now when it connects the second time during update, it’s failing to even see the keyboard and there is no way to back out (Cancel does nothing), so you just have to kill Chromium.

There doesn’t seem to be any way for me to actually update firmware any more.

The last time I did an update was in August and it was dodgy then, but worked.

So, I finally remembered that you have to unplug & start in programming mode for Chrysalis to see the keyboard during the update.
