Have you tried to clean or open the keyswitch to see what’s happen inthere ?

A number of Model 01 keyboards from the first two production runs developed ‘key chatter’ problems, either over the first few weeks of their lives or later on. This usually manifests as repeated keystrokes. For example, if you type ‘r’, the keyboard might instead send ‘rr’ or ‘rrr’ some or all of the time. Sometimes, it manifests as missing keystrokes. If it don’t work, you can still open the switch to clean the inside : be aware that is not a difficult thing, but it has to be done carefully, to avoid damaging the key-switch and having to resold an other one (which is an other level of maintenance !). You can try the method used to replace the inside mechanism, and remount the original one (after a good cleaning)

Swapping out keyswitch mechanisms

I was not very into how the keyswitches on the Matias Quiet Click felt and stopped using my Model 01 for a while because of it. I complained to Jesse and he suggested that I could replace the keyswitch mechanisms in my keyboard to use the Matias Quiet Linear switches (https://matias.store/products/matias-quiet-linear-switch-box-of-200).
