USB Type C to A?

The world continues to march down the path of insanity (NoSQL, Node.js, buying Apple hardware, systemd, GNOME 3, Firefox Quantum) and I have failed to keep up with the latest I N N O V A T I O N.

If I purchase a USB Type C to USB A cable (whatever kind that doesn’t destroy electronics, thanks Obama) is there some violation of the principle of least astonishment which would prevent me from using a Model 01 with my conventional USB hub?

The keyboard comes with an USB C-to-A cable, so you won’t even have to purchase one. Works just fine through a conventional USB hub too. Mine is plugged into an extension-hub, which is plugged into a powered hub, which is plugged into my computer. No problems so far.
